Charley is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, where she was Military Police and a Military Working Dog Handler. As a Military Working Dog handler and trainer, Charley specialized in narcotic and explosive detection, advanced obedience, and protection. While in the military, she also worked with special forces training units and government agencies. Before joining our team, Charley worked for a private security company as a dog handler, providing explosive searches of VIP events throughout LA. She has brought her love of dog training and passion for helping others to Specialty Dog Training™ and Shelter to soldier, with the goal of assisting veterans through service dog training. When she’s not training dogs or working with veterans, she enjoys trying new restaurants, and visiting breweries with her Belgian Malinois, Boujee.
